OPPORTUNITY:

Operations Directorate Support: ANSER is seeking antiterrorism and force protection experts to support the USSOCSOUTH Operations Directorate as AT/FP Threat Specialists.

RELEVANT EXPERTISE:

Successful AT/FP Threat Specialist candidates will have at least 5 years experience in military law enforcement, and have demonstrated experience as a unit ATO or equivalent. Candidates must have SOF experience and be certified AT Level II certified. In addition, successful candidates will have completed Defense Critical Infrastructure Program Risk Assessment/Risk Response/Critical Asset Identification Process coursework.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active Top Secret security clearance w/ability to obtain SCI
• SOUTHCOM AOR experience, SOF experience plus expertise and validated course completion as described above
• Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in staffing, communication, and coordination efforts across commands, services, and/or CCMD staffs is preferred

EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of SOUTHCOM AOR experience
• 3+ years of SOF experience
• A bachelor’s degree or higher, or an associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience.
