OPPORTUNITY:

Plans and Operations Integrators: ANSER is seeking analysts with backgrounds in special operations who have at least 10 years military experience and 5+ years’ experience in joint planning. Plans and Operations Integrators will provide the J35 Future Operations Division with technical support for problem definition and analysis of past and future operations in the SOCSOUTH AO. Must be skilled in operational requirements development and implementation for extremely complex systems in various subject matter areas specific to the USSOUTHCOM AOR. Makes recommendations and advises on organization-wide system improvements, optimization or maintenance efforts.

Plans and Operations Integrators advise and assist in all aspects of: J3 Global Competition (GC), Counter Drug (CD), Counter Transnational Organized Crime (CTOC), planning and coordination to include Counter Terrorism (CT), Counter Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Information Related Capabilities (IRCs) and Irregular Warfare (IW).

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Active (or within two years) Top Secret security clearance
• Extensive military, USSOUTHCOM and Special Operations operational planning experience.
• Experience with the Joint Operation Planning Process or a Service equivalent planning process.
• Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in staffing, communication, and coordination efforts across commands, services, and/or CCMD staffs is preferred.

EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

• 10+ years prior military experience and experience working in a SOF headquarters (required).
• 3+ years USSOUTHCOM AOR experience
• 2+ years in an operational and/or strategic level headquarters (O-6 HQs or above) demonstrating familiarity.
