Position Overview:

Analytic Services Inc. (ANSER) is seeking an Industrial Base Technical Analyst to support the Industrial Base Analysis and Sustainment (IBAS) program within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP). The IBAS program is dedicated to ensuring that the Department of Defense is positioned to effectively address industrial base issues and support the National Security Innovation Base. You will provide support for the program in the following areas: critical material, batteries, and advanced / additive manufacturing. You will support requirements generation, verification, and validation for planned program investments.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Evaluating issues and providing recommendations related to cost, schedule, and performance for current and planned program investments
  • Developing written communications products such as briefings, talking points, and read-ahead materials
  • Provide support for the program in the following areas: critical material, batteries, and advanced / additive manufacturing.
  • Provide support requirements generation, verification, and validation for planned program investments.
  • Plan, organize and/or lead projects including monitoring project cost, schedule, and performance.

This position can be remote or on-site at the Mark Center in Alexandria, VA. Qualified candidates must reside within a commutable distance from Mark Center to attend meetings as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Current Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 3 or more years relevant progressive experience supporting industrial base businesses, agencies or organizations.
  • Prior experience planning, organizing and/or leading projects including monitoring project cost, schedule, and performance.
  • Prior experience working with senior leaders, managers and stakeholders to drive project performance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering concepts and methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills. prior experience providing presentations and/or briefings on technical materials and information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition process and project planning, programming, budgeting and execution. (PPBE)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.
